Item was as described, was of good quality material and met expectations. Had some difficulty trimming it to size needed due to material being robust

Sturdy and easy to install. It also does a good job keeping the cold air out and letting the fan vent when on.

If there were more stars to give, I would undoubtedly give them! The AC Infinity 6" Backdraft Damper is nothing short of perfection. From the moment I unboxed it, I was taken aback by the impeccable packaging - it's probably the best I've ever seen in my life. The quality of the damper itself is top-notch, and it's evident that a lot of thought and precision went into its design and manufacturing.Pros:1- Stellar Packaging:The packaging is so well-done that it adds to the overall experience of the product. It's clear that AC Infinity values its customers and wants to provide a premium unboxing experience.2- High-Quality Material:The damper is made from alloy steel and aluminum, ensuring durability and longevity.3- Versatile Installation:Whether you want to mount it horizontally or vertically, this damper is designed to prevent backflow and debris from entering your ducting efficiently.4- Effective Design:The spring-loaded aluminum damper blades open with minimal airflow, ensuring optimal performance.Con:1- Connection Issue:I did face a minor hiccup with the connection. I had a 6" fan, and even though I ordered the 6" damper, they didn't fit seamlessly. I had to resort to using duct tape to connect them. However, given the outstanding quality of the product, this was a minor inconvenience.In conclusion, the AC Infinity 6" Backdraft Damper has exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality, design, and even the packaging are top-tier. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable damper solution. It's a testament to AC Infinity's commitment to excellence.

Installed vertically so didn't have the problems of function other people have.However it's a pity that the description is wrong.1. It says that it is spring loaded.2. It states that it can be installed horizontal!
