I’ve been using these bits in a boring head. I’ve had my share of trouble with the carbides chipping, but it could also be my fault because I don’t have a good setup for keeping coolant on the bit all the time. I’d recommend a set with replaceable carbides.

Average quality product. Like all of these imported from China. The carbide isn't centered properly in the tool. That's why everyone has trouble cutting material with them out of the box.To get the proper cutting angles you need remove a fair bit of the carbide just to get it on center. Of course that requires a grinder with a diamond wheel. Someo most don't have.The plastic holder my set came in was broken when I opened the package
