This wheel cylinder showed up in good condition with a plug to keep humidity and other moisture out of it so it doesn’t get contaminated, I’ve installed it a couple of months ago and haven’t had any issues.( just a heads up in general. And I found the fallowing to be very common issues).* I’ve owned a few 90’s GM vehicles in my life anf came accross 1- common problem that’s been an easy fix, and something I highly recommend.** The wheel cylinders seem to have a life span of 1-2 years, or as long as the brake shoes. Regardless of the brand, but keep in mind I’m not dropping a lot of money on them either** I’ve tried rebuilding the wheel cylinders but yhat didn’t last, because majority of the time they would get some rust, and then contaminated on the inside and then it game over.** and for the extra few dollars it’s not worth taking my chances at wasting time on them.*** I would replace the wheel cylinders and spring/ hardware on my rear brakes every time I replace the shoes
