I wish I tried replacing this first! In my saturn my valve cover kept leaking. I replaced all upper gaskets and leaked again I thought for sure I had a warped cover or head, the 3rd time I used alot of sealer then my spark plug wells wound up getting submerged in oil from seal and crank gasket started to leak so finally I took this part out and put a pressure reader in the hole, in a valve cover that should only have a few pounds was getting 30. The old one was clogged and was building case with pressure and even forcing it wrong way causing seals to blow and back feed into aire filter. I replaced the clogged one with this new one. 4 months later my car hasn't lost a drop of oil nor has it given any problems with emissions system. One little part cause so Many problems.
