GM certified tech confirmed product was DOA. Buyer beware. Not worth the effort to return, will end up just eating the cost. More importantly, though, I’m annoyed at the time I wasted installing a defective sensor.

Super simple to install. 3 plastic plugs to remove cover. Move seat far back. Easy access to replace part. Remove screw noting how tuning fork end engages. Note how small nipple on round part has it’s own hole to engage. Drop the whole part with electric still attached. Replace and tighten screw. You’re done. Check your work carefully. Make sure fork engages. Easiest if you drop the old part with electric connection engaged. The tab connection can be tricky and you don’t want to break it. You can clearly see what you’re doing this way. So far it seems to have fixed the intellitrack issue. It’s only been two days but the issue was becoming more frequent. Giving it a week to be sure. Very happy so far.
