The connection and build is perfect. The not great location on my desk computermakes this a necessity. It let's me access the ports for flash drives and rechargers easily. It has a light to show its working. Thank you for this great product.

I brought this to replace an old USB hub that was showing it's age on an aging laptop. The problem was when I would plug external hard drives in to do file transfers, sometimes they would display as plugged in and sometimes it wouldn't. I will be replacing my laptop soon, my for now this adapter is allowing me to stretch out my old laptop out a bit longer. Very much recommended if you need extra USB inputs. Thank you.

I bought this hub for an old computer with too few USB ports. It works well, and I like how it can receive additional power via a USB C port. I have several devices connected to it, including a SDR, mouse, and keyboard.

Están bonitas y practicas. Sin embargo es muy difícil que se peguen por sí solas tuve que ponerles silicona caliente y eso hizo que algunas se deformaran un poco

Hi All. (This review is for the short 0.5 ft cable version)I was looking for a USB 3.0 hub to connect multiple devices to my home router's single USB 3.0 port. This hub was the ONLY one I found that allowed me to power inject an additional 5v via a simple USB-C power connection. This was key because attaching multiple storage devices would have exhausted the internal power on my router's USB bus. Having the flexibility to provide that extra 5v via an ordinary low voltage USB power source (like and old phone charger) using an odd length of USB power cable was a big plus.Before committing this device to my intended purpose, I preformed some simple throughput tests and found it was able to consistently transfer at 5Gbps (when attached to a 10Gbps capable USB 3.2 NVMe drive.) It seems to run cool, and there are no questionable elements in its overall design (like a ridiculously bright LED status indicator; how I hate those.) Anyway, I opted for the version with the half-foot uplink cable to keep things clean and simple. And when I finally pressed it into service as I had intended, it preformed exactly as I hoped.I will note the polycarbonate (aka "plastic") housing makes this device "feel" really cheep. But I could care less: Considering the price, if 3-5 years down the road if it is still quietly going about its business without issues, I would say this was an excellent purchase.
