It's an interesting weather station, but I miss wind speed in m/s and 24 hour clock.

I've had Acurite products for close to 20 years. My tabletop forecasters still work and had to replace outside sensor once. I wasn't completely happy with the 5 in 1 device. After multiple support sessions we were never able to connect it to the PC, App or Weather Underground. I used it as a stand-alone and it was fine. After more than a decade on the roof, the Anemometer and Hygrometer had enough and quit. I researched the Atlas device and purchased it as a replacement. At first, I had difficulty connecting it through the PC as recommended. After activating the Wi-Fi on the display unit, I used my Android phone to connect to its Wi-Fi. I entered the IP Address on a browser in my phone and the connection page popped up. Completed page and reconnected to my home Wi-Fi. Voila! Atlas connected to Display, PC App, Phone and Tablets. I would give this device 5 Stars except for the Indoor Temperature and Humidity data does not appear on MyAcurite App. I was expecting that information for when I was away.Update 6/04/2023. Worked great for 3 days and went offline. Wi-Fi full strength, battery level full. No signal from sensor. Nothing was changed or moved. See what support says tomorrow.Update 6/6/2023. Support responded promptly. Replaced brand new lithium batteries with brand new Duracells. Sensor came back online. For 28 hours and went offline. Followed Factory Reset instructions if sensor went offline again. Another set of brand new batteries and reset system. So far so good. If it goes offline again, it's going back.Update 9/07/2023 Customer Support deemed the sensor unit faulty in June because it would drop out and the red light would stop blinking. I had to wait until mid-July until remediated sensors were available, and they sent me a replacement. So far, so good. Had a fluctuating signal strength issue but that was resolved by moving the display unit to a different location. Because of Customer Support, I bumped it up to 5 stars. I'll buy their products again.

When my ACU-RITE IRIS Weather station ceased to work, after about 10 years up on the pole, I was forced to replace it and I chose the newer ATLAS version from ACU-RITE.This unit is so superior to the IRIS version,, and I am thrilled with my new purchase.I recommend this unit over the IRIS version.

Funciona muy bien, fácil de instalar y la aplicación reporta todo en tiempo real tanto en el celular como en le pc pero cuando lo das de alta para tener un pronostico del tiempo no hay opción para México, les escribii y no tienen para cuando ponerlo.

Te pide aportes tu Código Postal, pero no permite dar de alta Países de Latinoamérica, son muy pocas las opciones de país y por lo tanto reconoce datos de clima que son ajenos al lugar en que se instala en países distintos a los dados de alta en su sistema.No es recomendable su adquisición si no vives en Estados Unidos o en alguno de los pocos países que sí tiene dados de alta en su base de datos

La versión Remates de Amazon no incluye la pantalla HD, lo regresé en dos ocasiones y me enviaron la mísma versión para uso en celular y acceso remoto. No hay buen soporte para países fuera de USA, UK y Australia.

Es preciso, funcionó muy bien y no hubo dificultad en sus instalación.La conectividad a internet es importante para que el aparato funcione adecuadamente.

Es relativamente fácil de instalar, para mí lo más complicado fue instalar la base incluida en la azotea. La precisión de la medición de humedad relativa no coincide con tres medidores que uso desde hace años. La pantalla de datos no ajusta la presión atmosférica a la presión real y deja siempre el valor al la presión normal a nivel del mar, esto es uno de los ajustes en la configuración de la PWS pero la pantalla no los detecta. El cable de datos entre la estación base y el ruteador de internet es pésimo pues no conecta firmemente ni a la base ni al ruteador. Con esas salvedades el resto de la PWS ha funcionado sin mayores problemas.

Apenas he recibido mi estación Atlas y la pantalla se desconecta cada rato del sensor y se vuelve a conectar. Ya he pedido ayuda al soporte de Acurite pero sigue igual. He leído que está estación meteorologica ha tenido problemas. Le daré un par de días más sino lo devolveré.Actualización 16 Julio. Finalmente pedí el reemplazo de la unidad ya que seguía con una pésima conexión. Y para mi mala fortuna el producto que me llegó una vez instalado presenta el mismo problema. El display se desconecta del sensor principal en múltiples ocasiones. No sé por qué están vendiendo artículos defectuosos. Unos días más de prueba y de regreso nuevamente.Actualización 18 de Julio 2019. Finalmente regresé nuevamente el producto. No funciona como debe serFue una mala compra lo admito. Ahora a esperar el reembolso.Como quería este producto decidí volverlo a adquirir después de recibir mi reembolso del anterior.Afortunadamente este equipo funciona al 100. Siempre conectado el sensor con la pantalla . Además el detector de rayos funciona de lo mejor. Me arriesgué y está vez valió la pena. Cambio a 5 estrellas. Excelente producto. Gracias Amazon MX por el apoyo.

7-month review. After great concern after reading many negative reviews on the Atlas here on Amazon, and learning Acurite fixed the false lightning issues I purchased the Altas & Access combo because I very much liked the features and price point of the Atlas. It turned out to be great. Setup out of box was easy and flawless. Connection to WeatherUnderground was easy. I have the lightning detector and no false readings, only lightning strikes are for real! Wireless connection at 125 ft range direct line of sight is 99% good, once in a while a momentary drop out but it recovers quickly (wireless can be fickle). My weather readings appear to be right-on based on comparison with other nearby weather stations on WU. I just swapped the batteries out for the upcoming winter in Minnesota. Can't say yet if I get a year on the batteries as Atlas claims. After 7-months absolutely no issues and still working perfect.

Okay, like many others here I've been waiting for this Atlas model to come out in order to replace my older Acurite 5-1 station. From the start I noticed many of the negative reviews due to the Lightning Sensor and other issues and wasn't sure whether to buy this or not. After going back and forth on different makes and models I decided to order this Atlas with the intention of returning it within Amazon's 30 day return policy if I had problems.I ordered the Atlas on Sunday and sure enough the box arrived in 3 days so great service from Amazon. The installation went easier then I had thought and sure enough I had the unit up and running in less then an hour. For my situation, the signal from the outdoor sensor is strong enough that I don't even need the display antenna extended. Improves the look a little without it.So far I've had it up and running for 24 hours and everything appears to be working fine, no issues with either the sensor unit itself or the display, and no false lightning strikes either, at least not yet! All readings seem to be accurate although we haven't had rain yet so we'll see how that plays out. The display itself appears to be much more professional and high tec then my old one. Certainly a nice upgrade.The only issue I've had so far is connecting my unit online to both the MyAcurite and Weather Underground sites. In the end I ended up unplugging the Access unit and taking the batteries out. After replacing the batteries and restarting the Access unit everything worked fine and I was online in no time.As a suggestion for people that need technical support, if you don't get your questions answered to your satisfaction by Acurite, try using the Acurite forum on the WXforum.net site or the Acurite Weather Stations Users group on FaceBook. The members on these sites are a great help and can answer almost anything.Keeping my fingers crossed that this new Atlas unit continues to be trouble free and I'll update this review if and when it ever happens.
