The part number on the fan was correct, but the mounting points were different. So I couldn’t use it.

I had this same problem 4 years ago. The DVR for my security cameras started continuously rebooting its self , so I started to check it out and found this little fan was not turning and keeping the 1TB hard drive cool . There is also another fan mounted on the circuit board that is made different and cools other things inside the DVR. I was able to look at the MFG. tag on both of them and sure enough I found identical matching fans in Amazon. So I ordered both of them ,and installed them now the DVR is working 100% the way its supposed to . This was a really low cost repair compared to the price of a new DVR .
