I purchased two new monitors for my office recently. Upon putting them together I thought I would be able to use them on a different base where they were both mounted together. However, that wasnt the case. I started to research and came across this adapter for the Samsung curved monitors. I ordered one because I wanted to try it out to make sure it worked before I ordered another. It worked great! It installed great and allowed me to use a dual base for both monitors.

It works and I am stuck with it unfortunately. Might return it. The way the bracket is designed it raises your monitor up 3", My mount is fixed to the wall, so I had to remove the wall mount to adjust the arm bracket for the VESA mount as it is what should have been a 15 minute job turned into 3 hours and fabrication of my existing setup...IF I was a noob and didn't have mechanical skills this would have ended in a disaster since we all know if you fart on a Samsung monitor it cracks....I KNOW.....absent another solution I may remove the bracket, weld a plate on it to lower the profile.

I recently bought this VESA bracket adapter for my monitor after realizing my new dual-monitor base wouldn’t support the default stand. The adapter did work and allowed me to mount the monitor as needed—but....Installation was a bit more involved than I expected. While the adapter itself is compatible, its design raises the monitor a few inches, which threw off the alignment with my existing setup. Since my mount is fixed to the wall, this meant I had to completely disassemble and reconfigure the arm just to make the bracket work. What should have been a 15-minute install turned into a multi-hour project involving some unexpected DIY adjustments.It does however get the job done and I appreciated that it let me mount both monitors on a dual arm base. But honestly, the raised height and extra bulk of the adapter make it feel like a workaround rather than a well-integrated solution.If you’re not mechanically inclined or if your mounting setup doesn’t allow for much flexibility, be prepared for a bit of a headache. That said, in the absence of a better solution, this adapter does get the job done. Just know what you’re getting into.Because it does its job, I give it 4 starts, subtracting one due to the headache it gave me working with it.
