The 4x NVMe card comes in a strong box, with bubble mat and anti-static bag. It supports four gen3 or gen4 NVMe cards of any size. Fitting hardware and a little screwdriver are included. The board has a two pin 12V fan header, which is nice. It has an onboard switch mode power supply to augment the power available to the drives, which can be power hungry.The board only claims gen3 compatibility but I can confirm it works solidly with gen4 drives on a PCI gen4 board too.This card requires BIOS support for bifurcation to turn an X16 slot into X4X4X4X4 configuration. It does not have a RAID controller. Each NVMe drive gets its own four lanes of PCIe goodness giving a theoretical 32gbps on gen3 boards and 64gbps on gen4 boards. Yes, it really goes that fast in real life if you have fast SSDs. I’m using four 2TB nvme drives in a ZFS pool and get a sustained 12.8 gbps read and 11 gbps write on a gen3 Dell R640 server. The drives are economy items giving their all. I selected only for high TBW. Two faster 256GB gen3 drives manage slightly higher speeds on the same card, but those NVMe drives are much, much quicker anyway.In terms of IOPS, you get incredible performance from PCIe connected devices over SATA.

solo funcionó para un modulo M.2, aun habilitando la parte de bifurcación 4x4x4x4, no vienen especificaciones del producto ni manual de usuario, tengo un mother Board ASUS TUF B760 que adquirí hace unos meses.

As others have stated, there is an issue with certain motherboards not working with more than 2 drives.This is the case with my Supermicro X10DRi-T4+ motherboard, it seems like there is some kind of power issue as the 2 slots that do not work do not seem to be getting any power.My theory is that some motherboards are not providing 3.3v on all of the pins they are expected to. Perusing the PCIe page on wikipedia, it seems like the +3.3v rail is only rated for 3A (9.9w) of current, that is obviously not enough to run 4 NVMe drives, so the manufacturer seems to be tapping 3.3v from a pin that's unused on certain boards, possibly the AUX/standby pins though I haven't had a chance to study the traces.I highly recommend you find a card that isn't as cheap and properly powers the drives from the +12v rail, as it is the only guaranteed way to know it will work.Once I replace the card in my server I'll update on what they are exactly doing here.

I installed this card with some small heatsinks, I am receiving some over heating alerts on unraid so now I wish I would have gotten the other version with the fan. I also started getting one of the drives dropping out but haven't debugged if it's the drive or the card that is causing the one drive to drop out. It is also one of the drives that overheated so I hope that didn't damage it.Still working with a new drive installed using the new zfs cache pool on unraid

No sirve más de un puerto. Pésimo producto. No se pueden utilizar más de un puerto. El peor fraude para que te bajen tu dinero.No vale la pena comprarlo.
