Did exactly what I needed it to. Opened up more possibilities for connecting USB-A devices to my Macbook, and allowed passthrough so I could still use the one cable to connect to and get power from my monitor.

The design of the actual item itself is great, I needed it to capture USB mic, live data, and video all at once and it does all of that perfectly, the only annoyance is just that it really relies on you putting the little booties on the underside of it to fit with the laptop's height and they don't like to stick on if you really take your laptop places in my experience. I would rather it have some kind of alternative to that since if I change my laptop's position or lift it from the desk it feels like it's going to snap. I would and have bought an additional one of these though.

I bought one similar before but had to keep taking the case off . This version works well and is less hassle

OK hub, but I feel that it's inferior to to the ZMUIPNG hub that I got 5 years earlier. I needed this hub to accommodate my new MacBook air which has a magsafe charger and the ZMUIPNG configurations blocked the magsafe port. The biggest issue is that the USB-C does not provide power charging to even small devices such as my AirPod pros, iPhone, or iPad, unlike my other hub. It's USB-C data transfer only. Also, I now find that after a few plug-ins, USB ports finicky and they keep losing connection.*UPDATE - The seller reached out to me regarding my initial 2 star review and was wonderful. Melelink promptly provided me with replacement saying that my original product seemed faulty. The replacement is definitely better and the USB ports much more secure and does not lose connection like the other one. Still wish that both USB-Cs provide charging, not just one.*UPDATE - The seller reached out to me regarding my initial 2 star review and was wonderful.
