I was upgrading a laptop, and unfortunately that particular laptop could "ONLY" take a certain type of drive, with a certain capacity and interface. Thankfully, this was the one i needed. So although it fit the bill perfectly, it's a shame that the laptop was so limited and picky. No fault of the drive, only of the manufacturer of that device. Apparently they didn't want people upgrading it when they built it.

Small, tiny, and amazing. Easy to install. It's a 256 GB SSD, which I'm using in my Raspberry Pi 4 that's encased in a ArgonONE case plus the SSD add-on. It's used to boot into Ubuntu Server and runs fairly well.

This ADATA SU650 256GB M.2 SATA drive is OK for average users. I installed and tested it using Crystal Disk Mark utility in a Gateway Laptop w/Intel i5 CPU and 16GB RAM. It does seem to be a little faster (average of 550MBs read 420MBs write) than the original FORSEE 256GB SSD that came with the laptop. If you want faster speeds, then go with NVMe drives. Unfortunately, my laptop won't accept NVMe drives, so I'm stuck with regular SATA M.2; which is fine for my use. If you are a gamer, NVMe drives are a better choice.
