Mantenimiento de la batería:
Retira siempre la batería de tu herramienta cuando estés montando piezas, haciendo ajustes, limpiando o cuando no se estés utilizando durante un tiempo prolongado. Si no planeas usar la batería de herramienta eléctrica durante un mes o más, guárdala en un lugar limpio, seco y fresco lejos del calor y objetos metálicos. Las baterías se autodescargarán durante el almacenamiento; recuerda recargar la batería antes de usarla. No dejes la batería inactiva durante largos períodos de tiempo. Recomendamos utilizar la batería al menos una vez cada dos o tres semanas. Por favor, no mantengas la batería en el cargador o las herramientas a menos que esté cargando o trabajando.

I purchased 2 of these in august 2023. It's now march 2024, one of them has quit holding a charge!

Battery works and charges but it is a very snug fit making release from tools a bit challenging but my husband does not mind this so he is very happy with the product.

I have a Ridgid drill/driver that I like very well for it's toughness, size, and balance. When the branded 4.0Ah battery died after years of use, I was disappointed to see the price of a replacement, so I decided to give this on a try. I haven't had it very long, so I'm basing my evaluation of its service life on what I guess it will be like based on its initial performance. But so far it's been very reliable and with good run time. One note- This battery has a hard case overall, compared to the Ridgid brand battery that has rubber-like cushioning around the base, so it may not take drops and other impacts as well.
