Hinges worked great for building hidden doors, and support significant amount of weight. Only thing keeping these from being 5 starts is install is not simple. Frame needs to be cut to accommodate the hardware without over cutting to accept screws. The provided screws were also an awkward length, making them too long for the doors I had, but to short to bite after cutting the frame for the top hardware. Ended up replacing most of the screws. Recommend longer screws for the top bracket to extend up into the wall frame beyond the hinge. But the all work now and serve their purpose great.

These look high quality, very substantial looks like they will pivot smoothly, however we did not use these , difficult to install, you have to inset one in the under side of the door so it should be solid and one into the floor , we had tile so decided not to drill into our tile but it wouldn’t be as hard on wood floor, comes with instructions but will require someone good with chiselling for a neat professional jobGave 5 stars because they really look durable and high quality

Hinge quality is superior to all I've seen, especially with this price point

I can understand why the Murphy Door bookshelf kits start at ~$2k, but for about $30 for the hinges and cost of lumber it's definitely worth the effort to install these. As the other reviews pointed out, you have to build the framing around the bookshelf door. it's got to be dead on plumb and level. There's zero forgiveness for margin of error.
