Full disclosure... I don't make jewelry, at least not yet, but that's not why I got these pliers. I got them because, as a DIYer/handyman, there are numerous uses for a good set of pliers/cutters. While I've not yet tried each one, I did try the diagonal cutters and found that they worked well, both for electrical wire and steel picture-hanging wire. The design of the grips makes them comfortable to hold. The only drawback to the set as a whole is the case. I liked that it has a case, but this one does not quite seem to be made to accommodate the set properly. In fact, when they were delivered to me, only one pair of pliers was properly secured in the case. The rest had clearly just been thrown in there. After struggling with it a bit myself, I concluded that the person at the factory simply decided to blow off the idea. And no... there's no way they would have simply fallen out during shipping.Poor case aside, it's still not a bad set to add to your tool collection, whether you're a jeweler or not.

Each plier tool is super durable and so comfortable to hold and work with. I really like that it came with a storage box that conveinantly holds all of the plier tools. I am a crafty gal so this set is fun to play with, I enjoy using each tool, there are also tweezers and another tool i can't quite name but they are very useful and very durable. I would totally recommend this to my friends and family
