I was having a serious wobble problem with a new wheel for my bench grinder, so I thought I should try upgrading the cheap plastic bushings that come with most wheels nowadays. These new bushings reduced the wobble down to almost nothing, easily corrected by cardboard shims.

I purchased this for my 5/8" arbor buffing machine. This 5/8" adapter fit fine over the threads of the arbor, but I could not slide it on further so that I could screw the nut onto the arbor. It was solved with some careful sanding of the inside of the adapter so that it fit properly. Took about 10 or 15 minutes to get it to fit. It works great though now.
