I bought one 10 years ago and gave it away last year when I was moving.I missed it so much that I went in search of it and bought another one.My Parmenide arrived before scheduled delivery. Very happy with both product and seller!

This cheese grater is in two world class museums as an example of excellent design and good art combined. In your own kitchen, it takes a little focused work to get the grater out of its slot. The trick is to lift one corner as if you were peeling it off, working from the smaller opening, what appears to be the top of the item in the picture. It's a great way to bring Parmesan or any other hard cheese to the table to grate neatly and deliver exactly the amount you want as a topping. Great gift.
