This case won't close 100% with a full size weapon but it still allows me to safely store my weapon in the car so nothing gets in and accidentally discharges. Be careful esp if you have something without a safety but keep it ready to go.

Locking zipper is nice feature. Great value pistol rug.

Inside material isn't the same 200-300D nylon as the outside, kind of like a mesh/felt material. I can't tell if it's stronger than the outside material, but definitely softer. Feels like an oil absorbent material, potentially prone to rip ripping or pilling. The construction is nice, but the design can use a bit more work. At the start of the zipper, the edging is sealed off with a circular patch, and the patch exposes the green foam on the back. I've owned Tommy's Packs or Kickin'A Packs with similar zipper lock designs (much better imo), but since they're out of business, these will work. Another complaint would be that the angled point where your pistol grip would go is kind of snug with a magazine. The perpendicular height of the rounded angle to the flat base is about 6 inches for the 11" bag. If your grip base to slide is taller than 6", might need to get the longer bag.

Exactly what I was looking for. Case locks. Good quality. Will use traveling back and fourth to the range.

Excellent case, fits perfect in the side pouches of my Midway USA compact range bag (best bag your ever buy BTW for less then 30 bucks). I have since bought a second one for the other side gun pouch. These keep the pistols safe a lot more then open semi-padded pouches on the side pouches (inside the main compartment) and one thing that they do as well is have a nice little lock .... the lock is literally Nothing for safety at all even could break open easy no doubt ... but since I live in CA I have to have my firearms locked at all times during transportation period ... so these are in my bag locked up ... AND the zipper pull closes on a small D-ring as well that I put a small padlock on (cause I don't think the cheap tiny kids lock on this soft case would pass the law as being an approved type lock) ... so running both the built-in lock along with a small master lock in the zipper pull and d-ring I am abiding by the laws when I transport my 2 pistols to the range and back in my case.Plus this 11" model fits like a glove in my range bag side pouches, adds Great padding for protection of my firearms and hold any pistol up to at least 5" ... I have an H&K VP9 in one (with room to spare) and a 5" M&P9 Pro CORE with a small slide mounted reflex optic as well and it just barely clears the top of the reflex so that was great! So really anything up to 5" is perfect for the 11" ... anything 4" below you MAY be able to get away with the 8" .... but he 11" is fine for me since that's a perfect size to fit snug on the side pouches of my range bag. Overall this handgun case did EXACTLY what I needed, fit in my Midway USA range bag like a glove, added more madding on protection for my handguns, fits both firearms perfect, and kept me compliant with CA stupid transportation of firearms rules to have em locked up in bag somehow!!!!For the Price I think this may be the best handgun rug / soft-case available! :)
