I’ve tested quite a few wearable speakers—a dozen so far—and this one lands near the top of the list. I mainly use these for listening to audiobooks on my phone or watching TV with my Firestick, so sound clarity and volume control matter most to me. Like the others I’ve tried, this speaker charges via USB-C, so it’s convenient to power up using the same cable as my other devices.I won’t pretend to be an audiophile, but I can definitely tell when something sounds off. Some wearable speakers have a persistent background hiss between words in audiobooks, but this one does a much better job of minimizing that. It also avoids the slight echo that some models have, making dialogue sound cleaner.*Volume*I like to test both ends of the range. When cranked to the max, it can be heard from across the house, similar to the loudest speakers I’ve tried. The difference between the top few is minor, but this one holds its own. More importantly, it also gets impressively quiet, which is great for late-night listening without disturbing others. Many speakers struggle with quiet volume, so this detail is actually a big plus for me.*Size*This is one of the more compact models. The bulkier speakers tend to include extras like magnets and microSD slots, while the smaller ones—like this one—stick to Bluetooth-only. I personally prefer the smaller size because it feels more solid rather than just bulky for no reason. Even with the flashlights, this is still one of the smallest wearable speakers I have tried.*Buttons*The buttons are covered in soft silicone and have raised markings, making them easy to find and distinguish by touch. That’s a small but important detail, especially when adjusting volume without looking. This would also make it a good option for the visually impaired.*Extras*✨ The color is a mix of blue with a hint of purple, which is a nice change from the usual black and yellow options.✨ Unlike most wearable speakers, this one doesn’t have an obnoxious blinking light while connected. I don’t know why so many models do that, but I appreciate that this one doesn’t.✨ It includes a flashlight, which is about as bright as a phone’s camera flash. I imagine this would be useful for delivery drivers or anyone who needs a hands-free light while listening to something. The flashlight even has a “high” & “low” setting✨ It announces the battery level before shutting off, which is helpful. Instead of a percentage, it just says “high,” “medium,” or “low,” so it’s not super precise, but it’s better than nothing.A few minor trade-offs:✨This speaker doesn’t have an auto-off feature. After sitting unused for over 12 hours, it randomly announced “Disconnected” when I walked out of Bluetooth range. I think this can be a pro or con depending on personal preference but it does take more mindfulness to conserve battery life.✨No built-in magnet, unlike some other models that can stick to a fridge or toolbox.✨No microSD slot, so it can’t play files directly from a card—Bluetooth is the only option.Value: The current price is $22.99 USD. This little speaker works great for what I wanted it to work for. I like to hike a lot in the National Forest, and it is important to make noise while hiking to keep the critters away. Because I hike solo, I usually listen to music to keep myself occupied, etc. Sometimes I try to play it on my phone but one time I put my phone down and walked away and was kind of disappointed as the noise didnt travel far. When I discovered that I thought a bluetooth speaker may provide a louder noise and the noise will go further to keep those critters away. This product serves its purpose well. It does provide a further distance of noise and is much louder than my phone speaker. I like that I can clip it on to my shorts or my tank top and keep hiking along. The battery lasts quite a while, too. I like that it also has a flashlight in the event of an emergency.10/10 would recommend and get again.

There is a popping/statical sound while in use. If you tune that out the speaker is great.
