This little guy is LOUD, LOUD, LOUD, which is definitely what you want in an alarm. I'll add pictures and maybe a how-to video when I add it to my project, until then all you need to know is that I tested it with an audio metering device and I got right at 120db as promised when I applied 12v (DC) at 500mA (0.5a). The tone that was emitted by the device was a medium high frequency that is recognizably an alarm, so there'll nit be a lot of wondering what the sound blasting out of wherever you install this is.
