After being in my home for about 25 years, I finally decided to leverage the 7.1 sound capabilities of my latest receiver. Before, I had 5.1 with speaker wires hidden under a threshold and stuffed in the baseboard crevice. With these connectors, it was easy to connect the new rear speakers up to receiver and it's very clean looking compared to before as I got rid of the threshold run as well. These connectors seemed to snap into the keystone holes fairly easy but did not pop out the back when depressing the spring loaded opening to insert the wires from the front side. I think that says something as it actually hurt my fingers to depress the little square release and I used a retractable ink pen tip with the pen tip retracted to depress the connector for the wire insertion. The biggest pain of the whole operation was pulling the wires that needed to go down into the crawlspace and come back up at the other end on an exterior wall with insulation in it. Luckily, there was a coax run coming up from the crawl space that was cut in the crawl space on the exterior wall. So, I was able to use that coax as a cable pull which saved me compared to the other drop behind the receiver that took me three hours, got a cut on my head, with bad knees getting the worst of it. But I have no complaints on these connectors.

I really like everything about these. They allow you to take care of Left and Right speaker connections in one Keyestone Jack. I used these in a 19" rack to simplify the speaker connections to a 6 zone whole house audio amplifier. I really like the way it turned out. The buttons are a little hard to press in to get the wires in the right spot, but because of this they make very firm connections. Great product!

They work as they should. The button is tough to press in fully. 14 awg stranded barely fit. I'd give it it a higher rating if it was easier to get the wire in and the description was accurate
