We have a European style shower and it didn't just screw on easily it was actually a project that took a week long to get all the fittings right and become fully functional. The water feels very nice we had hard water before that made my skin flaky but there's an obvious difference. There's no bad smell I feel like it's a good high quality item and a good value especially for people who can just put it right on the shower with no modifications. Merchant delivered what was advertised and I'm happy that I ordered

My apartment water does not have a water softener that I can access, but I was having issues with water hardness irritating my scalp. This filter improved the sense of cleanliness I got from showering, especially with my hair, which I have notices has become less greasy and that the scalp has become less dry. It is absolutely worth it if you do not have a water softener.

It makes the water smell clean?? I've never had that experience before but, I could used to this. How about, this thing is so easy to install...However, I had a less than bright moment. The filters a sealed with a little blue cap on either end, even the one that comes pre-installed in the device. I didn't realize then initially, and nearly had a plumbing catastrophe.It's been smooth sailing since then though. I couldn't be happier with its performance. My shower handle (which is where I chose to install mine) has a renewed pressure. The water quality Feels better and I don't feel nearly as stripped when I get of said shower.The only downside I could see to this, is that the device is a bit bulky, despite compact somehow. I think as a filter for main showerhead use this would do better for the fixture that come out from directly the ceiling or just much higher up than what I currently have. The device is long may be a bit inconvenient to taller individuals. (I'm 5'6") I tried it as my main and it was just barely comfortable with my plumbing spout that slopes from the wall.That said, I still stand by the 5 star review. If you can accommodate it, it is awesome. Even as an add-on for your shower handle instead!

In my testing of the ALTHY Vitamin C Revitalizing Shower Water Filter, has so far been positive. Assembly was a breeze since it arrives in a 4 pack with filters included. If you can simply unscrew a shower head, then you can install this filter. The filters contain calcium and other mineral deposits that help to filter out hard water and salts. This will in return allow a cleaner shower to rejuvenate your skin and make your hair much softer. In my use, I did not experience any loss of water pressure after your initial run to fill up the filter. So far I am on Day 2 and I can already feel a difference in my skin. A great purchase that I would highly recommend.
