The main reason I got this light, was for the output power of 100 watts in such a small design. The other lights I have with this output are easily 5x bulkier than this. Crazy! It's also got a neat semi-transparent colored design with the ability to go wireless, connect to your phone for remote control, light effects, and is easy to maneuver through the menu.Not only can you go wireless, but they have included a battery handle to do so. You also get a nice carry case with a half dome diffuser, mini-Bowens dish and usb-c cable. This is pretty much all you need to be off and running. The knobs are easy to find and allow you to fine tune the color temperature and brightness. They also have presets if you tap the button in that increase by 20% increments for luminance and some standard kelvin ranges for the temp knob.The screen is easy to read on both the back of the light as well as the power handle. The only thing I don't understand about the handle is there is no power down option. That said, if it's connected to the light then you can cut the power by long pressing the handle button. From what I can tell, the screen stays on for about 25-30 seconds and then shuts down automatically.There is an app (Photoolex) where you can connect your phone as a remote control which is super helpful. I only wish it were compatible with the Ambitful app so I could use it with my other lights. Anyway, the Photoolex app allows you to store presets, but you cannot fine-tune the effects. For instance, I would have liked to be able to control the flicker rate of the candle effect or the color temperature. You are only able to control the luminance of each effect though. Perhaps they can fix this in an update?Overall, I think this is a very good choice for 100 watts output in a small package. The battery handle and carry case make this even more enticing, and you get plenty of lighting options to get what you're after. And the fact you can go wireless... worth the buy!

As a photographer and videographer constantly chasing light (and daylight), the Ambitful Q100Lite Combo has become my new ride-or-die. I bought it thinking, “Hey, compact light, might be handy,” and now I bring it everywhere. This thing is the lighting equivalent of a Swiss Army knife.Let’s talk size — it’s basically palm-sized, but somehow still puts out 100W of seriously solid power. I’ve used it for interviews, product shoots, run-and-gun filming, and moody b-roll setups. It holds up every time. With color temps ranging from a warm 2700K to a crisp 6500K, it’s easy to match ambient light or create a specific look. The CRI and TLCI ratings are excellent — skin tones come out natural, and no weird color casts in post.The battery? Oh man. I usually roll my eyes at included batteries, but this one is clever. It attaches securely, doesn’t feel flimsy, and somehow gives me about 35 minutes at full power, which is pretty wild. It also supports PD fast charging via USB-C, which is perfect when I’m on the move and need to top off quickly.Mounting options are spot on — whether I’m using the battery or going old-school DC power, this thing adapts easily to whatever rig I’ve got. Tripod, boom arm, clamp... it plays nice.Now, the dome diffuser. This one caught me off guard. You can pull the dome out for more of a full “light dome” effect, or push it in for a tighter, softer look. Whether that’s by design or a happy accident, I’m calling it a win. It's like getting two modifiers in one.Bonus points for the fan — it’s whisper-quiet. I’ve had lav mics inches away and it doesn’t get picked up. That’s rare and very appreciated.Also: 15 built-in effects (hello lightning, firelight, and TV flicker), clean display, and remote control through the app — it's built with pros in mind.Honestly, this thing shouldn't be this good at this size. Ambitful nailed it. If you need a lightweight, color-accurate, flexible, mobile light that won’t die halfway through your shoot — get this combo. It's the kind of gear you buy thinking it'll be a backup, and it ends up becoming a favorite.

Ho usato la luce Ambitful Q100Lite Combo principalmente per video e fotografia, ed è stata una scelta interessante per progetti che richiedono una luce portatile e versatile. Se stai pensando di acquistarla, posso dirti che il controllo tramite app è pratico, regolare la temperatura colore da 2700K a 6500K senza dover toccare la luce fa risparmiare tempo, specialmente durante le riprese. La qualità della luce è ottima, uniforme e ben modulabile grazie al diffusore incluso, anche se quest'ultimo non è molto robusto e potrebbe non reggere un utilizzo intensivo.Un punto forte è sicuramente la portabilità. La borsa inclusa è ben organizzata, e il power stick da 5000 mAh consente di lavorare in luoghi senza prese di corrente. Detto questo, la batteria non è infinita, se prevedi sessioni lunghe a piena potenza, preparati a doverla ricaricare o ad avere un’alternativa a portata di mano.Un dettaglio che potrebbe influire sulla tua scelta è il rumore della ventola, soprattutto se devi registrare audio in un ambiente silenzioso. Non è assordante, ma abbastanza evidente da risultare un problema in certe situazioni. Se però il tuo focus è solo sulla qualità della luce e sulla flessibilità, questo aspetto può essere secondario.In definitiva, direi che è un prodotto ben pensato per chi cerca una soluzione pratica e versatile, con qualche compromesso come la durata della batteria e il rumore della ventola. Se stai cercando una luce che sia facile da trasportare e regolare, questa è un’ottima scelta, ma tieni a mente i limiti se hai esigenze molto specifiche.

This is a really nice light. This is my first light like this so I have nothing to compare it to. I really like the versatility with all the ports for attaching devices. I can hold it with the handle or put in on a tripod.All the adjustments work for brightness and color temp and I love that it is clearly on the display. The reflector works to focus the light and the diffuser does a good job of softening it.I really like the rechargeable handle for cordless operation if I want to use it for a short time. The handle has detailed info about the charge level and power being drawn. I see that the power coming in goes to 0 once fully charged.It takes about 3 hours to fully charge, but I also have the option of connecting it to a power source like an outlet or a power bank. It's nice that the charging port is usb-c so it works with later charging methods.I haven't had any issues with the battery dissipating unless I turn it on. I charged it to 100% and it was still at that level a week later.The different lighting effects for strobe lights, fireworks, tv background, etc. are a neat add-on.If I have the brightness up on the higher end the fan will kick on to keep the light cool. Maybe something to consider if the noise interferes with recording.The bag is so nice! It has thick, padded foam inside that cut out for the pieces and it keeps the light secure and organized.Wasn't sure what to expect but overall very impressed with this.
