It works. I cut a piece of angle iron and used it to stabilize the base as others have mentioned it to be bouncy. That did the trick. I haven’t had to replace the knobs with bolts like others. It has worked for me. Overall this does what I need it to do. It is cheaper than most bow vises, but in my opinion is too expensive for what it is.

Take a trip to the hardware store to get 2 - 10x1.25 bolts to replace the lockdown knobs. In my case i have a 17mm wrench i use to snug it down. You dont have to torque the bolts down like your putting on a wheel, it will hold well with a nice snug. Also if you are worried about how the lockdown nuts are just tacked on, if your handy just sand it down and throw a couple more tacks on there. Inexpensive and does the job.

I Read the reviews. Decided to purchase even if I had to replace the handles with new bolts. But I didn’t need to at all. The handles tighten down and held my setup just fine. Easily able to level and work with an extra set of hands. Must have for budget DIY tuning archers. Perfect for tying peep and leveling everything without having to spend $200+ on a fancy vice.

This works and holds the bow fairly tightly in the jaws but the entire rig wobbles a bit more than it should. Wish it was better built and the price was lower. This isn't worth $50.

Work but needs to be modified. When you tighten down an axis, its metal on metal so it doesnt grip very well. You might want to save your money and buy something of higher quality.
