I purchased this luggage and then thought it would be better to use a smaller checked bag. This luggage seems to be a solid hardside if you're a strong person to lift when fully packed. Handle is strong and zippers glide very well and rolls easily.

I love the jade green color! I bought this hard case carryon because of the size and brand. As I prefer buying from an American Company. I own Samsonite soft case as well. I like to take my hard case carryon luggage on board with me to prevent it from being destroyed by airport personnel. Checked luggage for a longer stay is BLACK soft case only.

I needed a new piece of luggage after my trusty framepack finally fell apart after 20 years of travel. I purchased the 28 inch size which was plenty roomy. The straps on the one side and the mesh zip on the other were very helpful to have after years of putting everything into a backpack. There is also a smaller zip up area in the luggage which is useful for storing small items like tweezers, bandaids, straws, etc. This piece of luggage just took its first trip and it held up fine. The wheels roll smoothly and quietly and it survived the treatment of the baggage handlers. No regrets about this purchase.
