I gave it 4 stars only in a relative sense. Mobility is the main benefit with this battery powered version. I expected it to be less powerful than a corded version, and, indeed, it is. Set your expectations to this being a light duty tool.There were a couple things that annoyed me. First was the safety guard was hard to put on. The instruction book shows a guard with a latch that opens the diameter up to fit around the housing, then, when closed, locks tight. That method appears to be the standard way angle grinder guards are attached. This guard, however, was a straight nut and bolt. It took me a while to get the guard set firmly in place and successfully screw the bolt into the nut, which I dropped on the ground a couple of times in the process.The other issue is the amazingly fast battery drain. I admit I was cutting a basic steel bed frame in half and that may qualify as heavy duty. Still, I emptied 3 batteries making 2 cuts. Each battery lasted no more than 2 minutes. Wow!So, if you set your expectations right, this tool will do that job.

The guard for this product is not easily rotated. Most tools like this come with a “toolless” guard.Actually, the instruction show two guards. One requires a screwdriver. The other “toolless”. But the toolless one is not included. The guard needs be rotatable to switch from grinding to cut off, and to be able to use it right handed or left handed. In addition, the instructions are totally worthless.
