This works perfect!!! We are an hour from any town, in the middle of nowhere, and had 1 bar SOMETIMES. We got this and have full signal all the time. Only issue I am having is the whip antenna inside the cabin broke and I have tried getting ahold of someone to buy a new one and can't get anyone to get back to me.Update. I was able to get ahold of someone and they replaced the antenna. Zero complaints. We are almost an hour from any town. Very far out. It's simple to use, easy to set up. We just anchored it to our roof. The wind moves it, so I would suggest attaching it to a 4x4 pole, or something sturdy. It is perfect. Thank you!

Does boost 5G on Tmobile, but signal range is limited to 5 feet. I use it to boost my cellular router so I leave the unit within 1 foot away and it boost from 2 bar to max 4 bar. Does improve upload and download speed. However likely will not work to cover anything away from 5 feet. Bought 2 unit for two gateway. Work for my purpose. For cell phone use, I don't think it work unless you're within 5 feet. Also does not boost 5G SA-band. Work well on 5G NSA-band.

We only ever got 1 bar in ONE ROOM in our home on both an iphone and android phone. Outside it was a little better if we stood in the right part of the yard. Our problem (we believe) is our distance from the nearest tower, as well as the giant oak trees that surround our home in the woods. We mounted the outdoor antenna about 30' high on a gable on the side of our home where we believed the signal is the strongest. We mounted it about 2' above the roof on a pvc pipe. We ran the cable inside the attic to a distance of about 20' from the antenna. Unfortunately we couldn't really get it any farther than this due to the cathedral ceiling. After plugging it in, we were able to get 2-4 bars in the house! Before, we would not be able to load any videos, but now we can stream video and youtube reliably. The signal on the phone and the signal tuning app does seem to fluctuate quite a bit every 10 seconds or so (up, then down), but it may be due to the distance between the inside antenna and outside. Also, Noah from customer service reached out on his own after we bought the product to see if we had any issues... WOW, what amazing customer service. I can't recommend this product enough!

We live in an apartment so our setup for this device was limited like pointing the outside antenna to the nearest tower. We generally have 1 bar reception in our apartment. With this booster we now have 2 to 3 bars. So indeed it does work. The only issue is the load on our nearest tower. Internet speeds vary greatly depending on number of users accessing the tower. So if you have a slow connection due to high traffic, it will still boost the signal albeit a slow signal. That’s our cell providers fault, not the boosters fault. Just like any antenna wifi device, you will loose signal strength when you start to place walls in between you and the antenna. Support from Abeni has been over the top in insuring we have the booster setup right and is actually improving the signal strength. This high level of product support is a very welcome change in the world of product support. Shows that they care about the end customer’s satisfaction greatly.🙂
