I have always learned how to use each type of measuring cup correctly to avoid spilling and making a mess. Most of the cheap cups have a very simple flat-walled pour. If you try to pour too fast, you get a mess. If you don't pour exactly straight, you get a mess. Not worth saving a few bucks. The pour on the Anchor cups runs about half of the way around the top. It is also taller and curved at the pouring spot. No fuss no muss. If this isn't the cheapest one you find and you will use it more than twice a year pry open your wallet for a couple of extra bucks.
