The letters had worn off my previous measuring cup so guess what? I got another one just like it. I was so pleased that they still made it. I'd had my previous one for over 40 years. Ha ha -- I'm 80. I guess I'll put this one in my Will. (P.S. I keep it out on the counter for easy reach, that's how much I use it, if not for measuring, then for adding water and other liquids to my cooking). It's cheap at half the price! And thank heaven they didn't "improve" it! LOL

This is a really useful little measuring jar - I wouldn't be without one. It is a replacement after it had a disagreement with the kitchen floor.

I love these little things. Bought them to mix pesticide into skin cream to make a lotion to kill scabies. The lotion worked, but not as well as the prescription stuff--of course, try to get prescription stuff when those bugs are eating you at 1:30 a.m., like they seem to love to do.Nice, because they're glass, and won't absorb the insecticide. Also, with the various volume indicators, good for mixing small amounts of almost anything. I've checked, and the indicators are properly printed on the glass for the volumes they indicate. So, good quality control there. They're tough too. I've dropped one (perhaps two or three different ones) two or three times, with a hard enough impact I feared breakage, which did not occur. Of course, I don't recommend testing them until they break, unless you like that sort of thing, but I do recommend these for accurate, small measuring chores.
