There are so many pieces included with this kit. I had bought a similar kit but from a different brand, and both are equally great for different reasons.This set gives you the ability to sew the clothing, add elastic and sequins compared to just gluing materials, attaching with tape and tucking into the mannequin.. It's like the more advanced version for those ready to sew and interesting in fashion creations that require extra detail.There is a little less material included with this one, but it makes up for that with the sewing accessories and velcro/elastic closures. They also include a nice retractable tape measure and scissors as well as assorted ribbons, sequins and small, colorful poufy balls.The booklet is neat and I like the ideas as well as the cute do's and don't for fashion designing.My niece was a bit sad that the red polka dot material was not included as it is featured on the box, but not a huge deal as there are other fabrics just as cute.It is a very complete kit. So much fun to do with kids while being a wonderful skill to learn/practice and definitely worth the cost considering the quality and amount of creative goodies you get.

This kit is a joke. I have sewn all of my adult life (50+) and the choice of fabric is ridiculous. Satin is definitely the wrong choice for something like this. A total waste of money, and a disappointment for my grandchild.

I think this set is a fun box of goodies for older girls who are into fashion and like trying to make their own clothes for their Barbie sized dolls. If they are if that mindset, they will love the fabrics and goodies this kit provides to inspire fun fashion. It doesn't come with patterns or specifics, so if your looking for something like that, this might not be it.
