Mounted it on the boat and connected it and the Garmin GPSMap 215 had no problems connecting again. Unit has been down for a while, thought it was bad. Tried this antenna and it's back in working shape again!

This is a powered antenna using 3-5 vdc. It works for a number of Garmins as listed, I found it works well for the larger A series Raymarine MFDs which have a coaxial socket for the GPS antenna. It may also work on other Raymarines with the coax socket. Raymarine sells the GA200 for about $200. Save your money this works

This fit right in where the old one used to be. The old one was damaged during storms and now I can feel more confident going out with a good reliable antenna.The cable was more then long enough, the main body fit and secured right into place and the cable run, although a bit of a pain, was as easy as you can expect with this kind of repair.
