Works perfectly. My OEM antenna got bent out of shape at a Carwash. Despite other reviews I decided to give it a try. Without an antenna radio stations would static & fade away. This small antenna works as the OEM . Good look as well.

I got this for my husband to put on his older model Harley Davidson. The antenna had just seen better days. He said it was so easy to change out and improved the overall look of his motorcycle. And it actually worked as antenna is supposed to. Clear radio reception.

Installing this antenna was as easy as screwing it on by hand. I wish I could say the same for my stock antenna. I destroyed the robber coating at the base of the old antenna. I didn't care as the tip of that antenna was already broke off from getting caught in a garage door. The old one was so tight that it broke the threaded brass stud that it was attached to. It made it half way off before snapping it. This new antenna comes with a new brass stud. I did not use the new stud as thee was enough threads for the new antenna to tighten on securely. The new antenna is shorter but picks up FM stations as good or better than my old one. I forgot to check the AM frequency reception because I don't listen to AM on the bike. If I get around to that, I'll update this review. It was definitely worth getting this antenna. I would recommend purchase for this price. Now I need to get a CB antenna that matches. I do not know about durability until I had it in the wind for a season.
