These are a really great replacement to those nasty rusty 2 piece lids that I love to hate! However, as one other reviewer said, I only received 9 rubber pieces to put inside the (10) lids to make them seal properly. Overall I would recommend this product but I think the seller needs to fix this problem and provide 10 rubber pieces for 10 lids.

We love using these once we break the original seal on our canning jars. We don't have to deal with a lid and a ring.

The kids seal well and are easier to remove than metal lids.

I like that it is one piece instead of a ring with a separate lid. It is easy for my hands to grip. It doesn't rust. I no longer can so I use my canning jars for see through storage for nuts, grains, seeds, etc. And because jars are reusable, it is a sustainable option to use what I have. I would recommend this product.

Do you love using Mason jars for other, more ordinary things but hate coping with the separate lids and rings designed for canning? Then these lids are for you. Sized for regular-mouthed Mason jars (NOT the wide-mouthed ones), these well-made tops screw on firmly but are still easy to remove and then replace. They come with separate silicone lid liners that slip into premade grooves in the lid to help it make a secure seal with the jar. You can upend the jars when full or even drop them (I did) without any leaks. Before these I had some similar, knock-off ones with uneven places in the lid that actually scratched me. These here actually feel great in the hand and also look professional in fridge or freezer or pantry. I don't know whether you can wash them in the dishwasher, because they clean so easily by hand, rinsing clean in a jiffy under the hot water faucet and drying quickly without having to remove and replace the silicone liner (I do run my finger over the liner while rinsing to be sure the water is getting well into the entire space). I'm about to buy the wide-mouthed lids, too, and throw out all my previous ones. These are the real deal.
