Prevent Data Corruption with PowerChute Software
APC PowerChute Personal Edition power and energy management software is included. I use this device to provide power conditioning and uninterruptible power to my TV and related devices. It will allow me to power down these attached electronics in a controlled and timely manner if power is lost in the house. I get peace of mind knowing my investment in home entertainment is protected from "hard" shutdowns that are not good for senstive electronics.I have 4 APC UPC devices protecting computers, external hard drives and health related equipment in my home. I have used APC products for 10 + years and trust them to protect all my stuff.GordK

He comprado varios y todos han funcionado mas allá de lo esperado, el mas viejo que tengo tiene al menos 4 años y ni siquiera he tenido que cambiar la batería. Muy recomendable pra proteger equipos de bajo consumo como routers, laptops, etc.

Llevo poco tiempo de utilizarlo pero hasta el momento se ha comportado bien. Antes de comprar consulté con mis compañeros en la oficina especialistas en Back-UPS y me comentaron que era una marca confiable.

Adquirí este UPS para proteger un NAS WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra (cabe mencionar que no todos los UPS son soportados ) y hasta el momento no he tenido problema. Recientemente tuve que cortar la alimentación de mi casa para realizar mantenimiento a la red eléctrica. El corte duró aproximadamente 1 hora y el UPS se comportó excelente manteniendo el NAS, un modem y un router encendidos todo el tiempo.

Siempre me recomendaron la marca APC cuando buscaba un UPS para mi computadora de escritorio y la verdad no me ha decepcionado. El producto llego en tiempo y forma, y en excelentes condiciones. Lo he estado usando por un par de meses y ha respondido como esperaba, ahora ya no tengo que preocuparme por estar jugando mis videojuegos favoritos en linea y tener una desconexión imprevista.La verdad recomiendo mucho el producto y el vendedor.

Es un producto de calidad, llegó en tiempo y en forma. No es lo más económico, pero si parece que es lo que dice, con el tiempo lo confirmaré. La forma de compra con Amazon, rápida, segura y en precio muy competitivo.

I own one of these devices. It's smaller than the 1500VA Back UPS Pro that I also have, but it's handy for running just our family server and the router that is the centerpiece of our home network. It's small enough to just slide in on top of the server itself, and robust enough to power one computer and a router for quite a while in the event of a sudden power outage. It operates like any other UPS in that the devices plugged into it are running off the battery and the battery is being continually recharged, so when the power goes, your devices don't flicker because there is no change-over, the UPS just starts beeping to let you know the power is out. It also has an Ethernet in/out port so you can run network lines through the UPS to act as a surge suppressor on those networks.There's no built-in LCD to give you information, but it's also a smaller, less powerful unit built for different purposes than its more expensive counterparts. Also, only about half of the ports are actually powered by the battery, the other ones are "surge only" and will actually lose power if your power goes out, so make sure that the devices you want it to power are actually connected to the ports labeled for battery backup. I'm still giving it 5 stars though because for its price and intended purpose, it is an outstanding product. If you want to get an UPS and only plan on running a small number of devices like a computer or television, this is a good investment to protect those devices during power outages, surges, etc.

If managed correctly it can keep your devices up for a decent time. I have a big PC, 3 monitors, professional soundcard and mpc sampler, still have about 19 min left. Only thing I dislike is the sound it makes when the battery kicks in. Hum/electrical noise. Still recommend.

Came quick and did the job. Usually buy APC for there reliability and ease to change the battery when it come to it's end of life.
