My previous battery, used in my APC model APCRBC160 unit had lasted well over 5 years, so I was not shocked when the backup began beeping, telling me it was no more. I searched for cheaper generic batteries rather than genuine APC, but I did not find any savings great enough to justify the risk of inferior products. The APC arrived very well packaged and worked like a charm right off the bat. Replacement could not be easier - no tools required. In addition, APC has a program to pay for return shipping of your used battery at no cost to you (search on their website).

The battery replacement is exactly as described and works perfectly. The replacement process was straightforward and easy. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable battery replacement.

It was nice to find the two 12 Volt batteries for my UPS assembled with the correct cartridge for easy installation and not having to disassemble the old one without breaking it.
