Other than Mazda (like other car companies) engineering the cabin air location so it can only be accessed by a 12 yr old contortionist with exceptional hand strength this went in just fine in my Mazda 2. Remove the 4 screws then the cover, pull out one filter, the top filter drops down (or is pulled down) and pull it out. Then match the orientation, but there is really only one way they will go in, and slide int the top filter, lift it up and slide the bottom filter in. Replace the cover and 4 screws. Go yell at car designers for making things so hard and relax in the fresh air that now comes out of the vents,

Fits perfect and performs well on my 2011 Mazda 2 . Good value and quality.

Used on a 2014 mazda 2. Fit great slide right in and up there if u know what I mean ( it did take me 30mins) but just as good at oem.
