Functioned , fit into place, price was very low. Quality was less than OEM, slightly flimsy, looked crooked after install. Does fit into place and work, but I can't see it lasting 28 years like the original, but for the price I'd buy this again if or when I need to again. Good overall value, durability remains to be seen.

Of course my tailgate handle decided to give out after 22 years of working perfectly at the most inconvenient time but that's life. After watching a helpful YouTube video I decided to tackle this project. The handle was about $10. All I needed was a pair of screw drivers and a ratchet set. This 50 year old nonmechanically inclined female was able to fix this handle in under 20 minutes. Tailgate handle works perfectly and looks decent. The handle is made of plastic material and feels a little less durable than the original handle but so far no issues. Fingers crossed.

This was a perfect fit. Easy to install works smoothly and seems to be of decent quality.
