I have a ceiling fan with light in my entryway. I had to pull the chain each time. I wired this in and bypassed the chain switch and put a light switch by the door, and in the living room. It’s nice having that light acting like a 2 way for the light. Just hooked it up so I can’t speak of the longevity. The instructions kind of sucked and the 2 switches will need 2 AAA batteries per switch. Did not come with them. But overall pleased with how it works.

Instructions did not match exactly. But, I figured it out.

The instructions couldn't have been much smaller and the colors of the wires on the device didn't match those shown on the instructions. However, it was easy enough to figure out and works extremely well. My customer had a combination exhaust fan/light in her bathroom and they both were controlled by a single switch. I could have run some 14-3 wire to replace the 14-2 but this was much more efficient and saved the customer quite a bit of money (cutting holes in drywall to feed new wire, replace the switch with a dual switch, repair the drywall .........).

Installed quite a few wireless switches of various brands. This is the WORST one yet. Instructions are printed in inhumanly small fine print. Don't care how good your vision is, a magnifier is essential. Wiring labels on receiver also smudged so illegible. Glad I actually took it apart, this thing uses a BLACK wire for NEUTRAL! With a hand soldered bodged jumper wire between Neutral In and Out. (White & Black are BOTH neutral). Line In = Red, Line Out = Blue. Basically the output wiring colors are swapped. Even after getting all this sorted I found wall switch was not pre-paired. Followed instructions but was never able to get it paired. And I did install batteries (2xAAA) which you just about have to break every plastic tab in order to change. This switch kit is both garbage and dangerous!
