¿Cómo elegir el calentador adecuado para tu acuario?
Hay 3 elementos a considerar para determinar el calentador adecuado para el tamaño de tu acuario:
Temperatura ambiente: volumen de agua del acuario. Temperatura deseada.
La mayoría de los expertos en acuarios recomiendan que determine la potencia de su calentador en términos de vatios por galón (WPG). Por lo general, necesitarás alrededor de 2,5 a 5 vatios por galón en tu tanque.
Entonces, por ejemplo, un acuario de 10 galones necesitaría un calentador de 25 a 50 vatios.
Aún así, esto es solo una estimación aproximada: también deberá considerar la temperatura ambiente para hacer un cálculo preciso.
Si la temperatura de tu habitación es baja, necesitarás un calentador más grande para elevar la temperatura del agua en tu tanque, una habitación fría puede requerir más de 5 vatios por cada galón de agua.
Fácil configuración
Simplemente presiona el botón "SET" y la temperatura aumentará en -17 °C. Cuando alcanza los 90 °F, presionándolo de nuevo se restablecerá a 17 °F.
Luces indicadoras
El calentador de acuario de peces cuenta con luces indicadoras: una luz roja significa calentamiento activo y una luz verde indica mantenimiento de temperatura.
Ventosas
Para que la colocación sea conveniente, el calentador de peces viene con ventosas. Estas ventosas permiten una fijación fácil y segura en tu pecera.
Consideraciones completas para situaciones no deseadas
Protección para correr en seco
El calentador de acuario evita el funcionamiento en seco con un código de error (E1) si no está completamente sumergido. Sumérgalo completamente para quitar el error y reanudar la función.
Protección contra sobrecalentamiento
El calentador de pecera se detiene y muestra H1 si el agua supera los 80 °F/36 ℃, se reanuda cuando cae por debajo de 80 °F/34 ℃.
Función de memoria
El calentador del tanque de tortugas reanuda automáticamente el último ajuste de temperatura después de un corte de energía, no necesita reprogramación.

After using this product in my 10-gallon tropical fish tank for 3 months, I can confidently say it's a reliable piece of equipment for the price point. The LED digital is bright, easy to read, and eliminates the guesswork of analog heaters. The temperature control is impressively accurate, maintaining a steady 75 degrees without fluctuation, and the compact size means it doesn't dominate the tank visually. The installation process was straightforward. The heater's automatic shut-off feature provides peace of mind when the water level gets too low. I particularly appreciate how quickly it heats the water - it brought my tank up to temperature within a few hours. The suction cups are strong at first and now they are undone by itself couple of times now. You might have to replace the cups and check the effectiveness occasionally. While the display is convenient, it can be difficult to read if the heater is positioned at certain angles, and the cord could be a bit longer for easier placement options. Just remember to calibrate it with a separate thermometer when first setting up, as there can be a slight variance between the displayed temperature and actual water temperature.

Recently my team got a Beta fish in our office which we named him Mamba. He started out in a 2-3 gallon bowl with 2 plants and a sign. A teammate and I discussed how we wouldn’t want to be in a small apartment with little to no furniture, heat, lights, and 24hr cleaner (filter). So it began, we not only got more furniture, but a 5 gallon townhouse with a light, water filtration system, and a cute heater. Mamba has been swimming all over his new place!

I purchased this 28th Oct 2024. It’s dead already. My turtle almost died. The seller was so nice to send me a replacement part. I will purchase for this seller anytime again.

After looking around for a heater for my daughter's fish tank, I came across this one and figured I'd give it a shot. It is small and takes up very little space but the digital display is really helpful and it heated up a 10 gal tank super quickly!

So far, so good. I got the 25 W heater for my 1.6 gal aquarium that I plan on using for a Beta fish. I wanted to warm the water just a bit, so I figured I'd try this small water heater. The heat level seems fairly accurate and it seems to work well.Now, the 25 W heater is suppose to be used in smaller tanks (5-10 gal), but mine is even smaller at only 1.6 gal, so I just tinkered with the temperature setting to get it close to 74 F. I just set the temp a degree or 2 lower than what I wanted to get. My aquarium has a temperature gauge and it's reading 73.7 F, which is close enough. I may actually bump the heat control up 1 more degree, since Beta's are most comfortable in waters between 75 & 82 F. Honestly, I've had Beta fish with out a water heater in the past and they've also done well. I figured this time I could warm the water a smidge.The size of this heater is perfect for my tiny aquarium, so it would probably be minimally noticed in a 5 - 10 gal tank.This heater is super easy to install. Simply clip the suction cup onto it, dip it down into the water until it's submerged, and suction it to the side of the tank. Then plug it in. The instructions recommend making a drip loop with the cord in case water goes down it. The only thing is that I would've like the heat control to be further up the cord. It's really close to the plug. I think it would've been easier to get to if it had been a bit higher up the cord.The heat controller just works by quick pressing the button to the temp that you want the heater set at. After that, the control will monitor/display the temp of the heater. The control stays set to the temp that you choose, so I don't have to worry about resetting the temp if the power goes out.
