Does not work properly, faulty. The moment I plug it in, the car light's up as Christmas tree (all lights and indicators on). It must be wired improperly or has some kind of short circuit. When I put the old ignition switch back everything seems to be normal (except it does not start right away which is the reason I wanted to replace it). I will have to buy the original from the dealer.

I had this part failing over the course of 6 months but it had gotten so bad that starting my CR-V became a gamble. Until one day I thought I wasn't going to work because it just wasn't starting. So I replaced the relay first..... No Go. After some research this was the best next part. Came in at a 1/4 the price of the parts stores and arriving next day. So I bought it. Took my column apart with some help from YouTube and when it arrived I installed it. Turned the key and no more buzzing, started immediately. Has been starting with no problems. So happy now and at this price I couldn't complain.

Very inexpensive and solves the common problem of a failed switch. Be aware though; after installing my key would often not return fully from start position, so the engine would run, but the accessories would not. I had to uninstall the switch (5 min) and carefully realign it until the key worked smoothly, then tighten the screws down.
