This review evaluates the “Aluminum Straight Inline Check Valve (8mm)” made by ARAMOX.What’s in the bag: one (1) aluminum 8mm straight inline check valve.First impressions: Beefy. Solid. Well made. Honestly, I was surprised at the high quality of this check valve. It is made out of thick machined aluminum and has decent barbs on both sides for leak-free mounting. It is suitable for fuel, liquid, and air. I installed this check valve, just before the fuel filter near the engine, on an outdoor generator engine in order to prevent excessive cranking when starting the engine. It is exactly 8mm (5/16) and did not leak under operation.Since I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. To determine blade durability and length of life, I intend to monitor this product over the next 12 months. Should anything change over this period, I will update this review accordingly.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I was very satisfied with this product; it is durable and does the job it is meant to do. At a current price of $9.99 plus a 5% off coupon, I feel that this product is fairly priced and of good value for the quality and functionality provided.In summary: The “Aluminum Straight Inline Check Valve (8mm)” made by ARAMOX is heavy duty, doesn’t leak, and is built to last. Very nicely made and fits perfectly. I am using it as a check valve in a volvo fuel system and it is working well. Time will tell how durable it is..

I have bought 3 of these, I have one on my 302 Ford V8 right now which has a return line on a diaphragm fuel pump and it tends to drain back when the car is sitting, One of these just before the fuel filter is the solution. I first tried a different style one from another brand that leaked after 4 months (scary!) this one only has one place it can leak versus the other styles that are a multi piece. Also the hose barbs on this one are bang on 5/16 unlike some of the cheap fittings you get from China that are undersize. Has performed great for a few months now and it also looks good as the machining is is quality. I keep an extra one in the car just in case but I’m pretty confident in this one.
