Dragon Shield were my favorite, and most used, sleeves for a long time but with these sleeves I switched to the Ultimate Guard Katanas. The box came damaged, and the art sleeves specifically have a strange smell--almost like maple syrup--that is off putting for me. I have an older pair of art sleeves that never lost that smell and I no longer use them because of it. Beyond that the sleeve corners are rough and the art printing makes them a little stickier than usual. Mind you I'm used to matte sleeves for shuffling, so the stickiness of the art sleeves really turned me off to them. They do cover the cards and they fit well in decks, so they're standard quality in that regard. Just not up to the usual DS quality I've loved in the past for their matte sleeves and custom art sleeves.

The texture of sleeves is important to me as the super slick ones aren’t as nice to hold and stick to each other more. These are nice and kind of matte- no sticking and nice to hold.

Incredible quality to be honest; I know that regular Dragon Shields are pretty nice.Yet I bought recently from another Brand some due to their Artwork on the back and I was kinda disappointed; those Dragon Shields though are amazing. Not only is the printing perfectly clear and sharp, the light texture makes them perfectly for actually shuffeling and playing. Furthermore all Sleeves were the exact same size and fit.I should starting to buy Dragon Shield Art Sleeves more often, so that I never get the idea again to resort to other brands.
