Not much use yet, but will update on longevity.

The arrows arrived well packed, and the feathers were not bent or damaged. Out of the box they are set up for modern drop-down rests found on compound bows where the index fletching points upward. I mostly use compound bows anyway but only one has this drop-down rest. If you have a recurve bow, then you definitely won't have this type of rest. Fortunately, you can easily adjust the nock position with a coin by simply rotating it, which is very convenient. Also, there are spare nocks included just in case you break any (I haven't broken a single nock yet), which is a very nice touch. That said, I'm highly impressed with the overall quality of the arrows and tips. The fletching on each arrow is made of plastic and glued perfectly straight, which is rare in such pre-made arrows. These arrows seem to be much better than the regular practice arrows I was buying before. Description says "carbon fiber" but I don't think so, most likely they are made of fiberglass. The arrow heads arrived in a separate bag. The arrow heads have a rubber ring on their shaft, which guarantees snug fit and prevents unscrewing of the heads from the shafts. The heads are very well made and are perfectly aligned with the shaft when it is in place. The heads weigh about 6.45 grams each, which is almost exactly 100 grains as advertised. Now a few remarks to address the controversy around the arrow length as some other reviewers complained that they are shorter than 30 inches. It is 29.75 inches long if measured from the tip of the head to the base of the nock. And it is 30.25 inches long if measured from the tip of the head to the end of the nock. The shaft itself is measured exactly 29 inches long without the head and the nock while the product image clearly shows that the shaft is 30" (762mm). This is disappointing as they seem to be one inch shorter than advertised and they actually match my other 29-inch arrows. I am deducting one star because of this fact. See attached photos.*** TL;DR ***Yes, I do recommend these arrows for archery practice without hesitation. For hunting, probably not, go for well-known brands and higher quality arrows. But for practice these will work just fine. They are well made, straight, good fletching, quality field heads. Nocks can be rotated and adjusted for both recurve and compound bow setups. Everything is fine about them; it's just that they are about half an inch shorter than advertised (30 inch). It does not affect their performance, but still I'm giving it 4 stars only.+++ Pros +++1) Well-made overall.2) Straight and strong fiberglass shafts.3) Nice fletching.4) Nocks can be rotated.5) Heads have rubber grommets.6) Cheap and shoot well.--- Cons ---1) A bit shorter than 30 inches.

As a relative newcomer to archery (recurve bow), I had to research to find out why the index fletching (the odd color one) on these arrows orients upward with the nock orientation but now I know…they’re set up for more modern breakaway rests found on compound bows (where the index fletching points upward). Since the product details list this as easily changeable/rotatable (“with a coin”), I’m both relieved and a little concerned that this “adjustment” will only loosen the fit of the nocks. That said, I’m impressed with the overall quality of the arrows and tips and the spare nocks they include are a nice (and possibly necessary) touch. The fletchings on each arrow all came perfectly straight (which is a rarity with rubber fletchings, especially with boxed/shipped arrows) and the two I rotated the nocks on and tested from my recurve shot nice and straight (though a whisker biscuit rest). These are nice arrows…just wish they’d come with traditional nock/fletching orientation to save me the headache (and possible nock replacement).

These arrows seems very much a cut above the usual practice arrows I have. They arrived very well packaged, all the feathers in place and unbent. The shafts are carbon fiber, seem very smooth and solid, although they are hollow. There are twelve shafts, and twelve heads that screw into place. The heads arrive in a separate bag. When the heads are in place they’re a tight fit, and perfectly aligned with the shaft. The heads have a deep screw to secure them and are very well finished. If my scale and calculations are right the heads weigh in at apx 6.44 grams each, the ad says 100 grain. The feathers are plastic, but they are longer than the practice arrows I’ve received from other sources. The nocks can be rotated to suit the kind of bow you have. I have a recurve and want to rotate them, and when I tried one it feels secure when rotated 90º, and comes with four extra nocks.

My wife and I regularly do target practice on our home range, using a variety of different bows. We have one compound bow and several recurve bows. The recurve bows we use have draw weights of 35 to 45 pounds, and the compound bow has a draw weight of 65-pounds. For the last six years we’ve ordered the GPP branded carbon arrows for target practice and have been happy with those. It was time for us to order another pack and I had the opportunity to order these Archery Sharly models on Vine and thought we should give them a try.Out of the box they are very similar to the GPP arrows we have been using for several years. The arrows were well packaged and none of the vanes were bent or mangled. The synthetic fletching vanes appear identical in size and dimensions to those on my GPP arrows and hold up fine to repeated use. The basic field points make the arrows easy to remove from targets and their tips don’t easily bend with accidental impacts to target stands. I weighed the field points on a digital scale, and they weighed in at 6.5-grams (0.23-ounces) each, so that means the advertised 100-grains is accurate. The nocks are a little longer and more robust than those on my GPP arrows, which appear will stand up to abuse better than my older ones, and an additional four nocks were included in the box in case you break any of those that have been pre-installed on the arrows.Testing these on my range, they flew just as well as the GPP brand with a good flight path and little flex. The nocks stayed on and oriented correctly with repeated use, and the field tips did not come loose. I was impressed that the shaft of the field tips has a small O-ring to help prevent them from unscrewing themselves during use (although I still use a dab of 222 Loctite to prevent any possibility of them untightening during flight and impact). I was quite impressed with these arrows for the going price. I highly recommend using carbon arrows over aluminum ones for target practice. They’re more durable and won’t bend.Because these were received as part of the Vine program, I didn’t have a choice of color, and received the model with the green and white vanes. I prefer red or orange vanes because they are easier to see and find when someone misses a target. The green vanes blend into the grass too easily. It is so painful to mow over an arrow that couldn’t be found a few days earlier, so if you order these, I recommend the orange vaned ones. But I am not nocking (get it) a star off because of the color. I will post side-by side pictures next to my red GPP arrows so that you can see how similar these are to the GPP’s other than color. These arrows are nearly one inch shorter than my GPP arrows even though both are advertised at 30-inches long. Upon measuring these Sharly arrows, they are not truly 30-inches as advertised and pictured, so I am deducting one star for that. The shaft is 29-inches long, and if you measure from the tip of the field point to the base of the nock, as it is measured in the listing’s picture, it is only 29.75-inches long.Other than my minor nitpicks, these arrows are a great value. If you lose or break one it won’t break the bank, and they are accurate and durable enough to help you properly hone your skills. I noticed that the GPP model is currently unavailable on Amazon at the time of this writing, so it looks like these will likely be my new go to replacements when I need to order more.
