I was really skeptical about buying insulatedBib overalls on Amazon, but they are thick and the material feels like very good quality thick material.

My son loves these. He didn't complain about them being too hot or too heavy. Fit just right.

They fit pretty true to size, seem to be water resistant, and have been keeping him warm while playing in the snow. My son is almost 5YO, 41”, and 39lb- pretty average for his size. We haven’t had long enough to test the integrity. Wanted a them to be somewhat on the big side, which they are, in hopes he can wear them again next year.

I ordered this snowpants for my great grandson to match his Mossy Oak winter jacket, which they did very well. I was afraid they might be too narrow to fit over regular clothes easily, but they are fine. They weren't quite as heavy (for really cold weather) as I had hoped. He likes them and wears them comfortably.
