VERY DISAPPOINTED...The package is not new and has been mistreated. It has a stick/gummy substance on it. The filter is enclosed in a round plastic container and does not appear to be new. I need the filter right away, and if I find that it is effective or damaged in any way, then I try it out, it will be going back immediately.

still too bright, most of the time looking at the moon burns a huge black spot in your eye, but the contrast is great for the $.I don't see any flaws with it, clean lens filter without any dispersions I can detect. Great price, and delivered quickly!

I play with an 8" Dob. My favorite activity is exploring the lunar surface. This neutral density filter is a must have for lunar viewing around the full moon. Good color. Good contrast. Easy on the eyes.
