The quality is nice but they run huge in sizeI am 5-10 and 210. I bought large and returned for medium and still too big. Also way to long.

This doesn't come with any instructions, although it is pretty basic. The light source is so dim as to be useless for collimation. I saw someone use this on a video and was hopeful it would be an alternative to the usual onerous task of collimating a telescope. Try a Christmas ornament or a ball bearing illuminated by the sun (never point your scope anywhere near the sun, of course). I never could figure out why this cost so much, as it doesn't have any components that warrant the high price.

I am giving this 3 stars because the build quality is really good and the idea is great. Also I am giving this 3 stars because it is not really adequate for day time use as stated. I set this up on a tri-pod in the shade approximately 70 feet away. Using my LX200 10 inch you could barely see the "Star" even when turned on full brightness. Not really enough to collimate the scope. After walking back and forth multiple times to get the Astromania Artificial Star as perfectly aligned with the telescope still so dim not really usable. I think it would work great at nigh but then I thought if it is nighttime just use a real star.
