It was hard to convert aurora r12 to something modern, but i did it. It is better to buy 1000W psu as well and install as much fans as you can fit in case. It is definitely nuke!

Great card for AI stuff, Good price no problems yet. Just enough ram to do most AI stuff. Visions of Chaos is a great program with many AI apps loaded into a single easy to use program. Lots of fun things to do with this card, easily plays anything max graphics.

No issues with card no overheating no loud fans no extreme temps etc the thing you need to remember is that this graphics card is case dependent on how you take care of your pc i have no issues with my graphics card I would buy it again

Both in size and in performance this card is massive. At 1080p with an older 10th gen chip this thing in absolutely insane. Max graphics on god of war I run about 180fps. Forza horizon 5 with max graphics and rtx on max I get 150fps. Subnautica maxed runs 175-190. Power draw under heavy gaming is about 300w and at idle it’s about 175w. Massive improvement over my old tired 1060

I ordered a refurbished 3090 after already owning the same model 3080 for a couple of years. The most noticeable difference between the two GPUs was the sound of the fans. When idling at a temperature of 40C, the 3080’s fans are almost always at 0 RPM, and thus totally quiet. The 3090 never ever had its fans running slower than 1000 RPM, so were always audible, increasing the ambient noise of my PC. I believe this was a conscious design choice made by ASUS because 3090s tend to run hotter than 3080s.After a few weeks operating the GPU just playing AAA games like Cyberpunk and Starfield, it started to black screen fairly frequently, possibly because my PSU is only 850 watts. I attempted throttling frame rates, and did achieve slightly improved stability, but nothing as stable as my original 3080.In the end, I returned the 3090 because it just wasn’t meeting my needs.
