Easy to install, quiet, outstanding performance. Well built, little RGB logo on the edge looks cool. Really freakin' BIG! I'm very happy with this purchase, I can play all my games on max settings with ray tracing enabled at 2560x1440. They look great! This GPU replaced my RTX 3060, so this was a pretty good jump for me. I am a little concerned that it could have more VRAM, at 12gb it's possible some games might want more than that for max settings in the future. Monster Hunter Wilds wants 16gb VRAM to use the "high def texture pack" for example. If you are looking to upgrade from a 4070 ti/super or higher (or a card with higher VRAM) I wouldn't bother; the difference would be marginal. At $740 I felt that this was a reasonable value, given the scarcity of 50 series cards, and the tariffs that we enacted just after I bought it. Glad I made the purchase when I did, even though it was $190 over MSRP it was still cheaper than what any of the scalpers are asking.

Update; still new and still learning. I’m exploring what more this card has to offer and find myself increasingly impressed with all day-to-day operations. Not heavy into gaming. I mainly use this powerful adapter for improved accessibility. A 32 inch monitor and a smooth frame rate with a magnifier in game helps me to read some of the Smallest menu font inside some of the well-known titles. This gives me an individual with limited eyesight greater ability to work with all aspects of gaming. Simpler times I played FPS games and focused very little on chat and other features however, now in this increasingly complex and versatile gaming environment There are in-depth details I must explore. Having a display adapter that can handle basic day-to-day tasks and boost my gameplay experience add so much more to my ability. Again to quote other reviewers this adapter is a good investment not a cheap one. It’s price point. It’s built quality And sustainable operations. Make this a great midtier high-quality choice for me and my budget at this time.I will echo some of the other reviewers by stating this adapter takes a little hit in the VRAM department. My previous adapter had 16 GB of RAM and this adapter only has 12. Some applications require that extra VRAM For this, I fear some newer titles may stress this card when I request Support from a magnifier or other assistive technology in game.Furthermore, I must stress gaming labels. Don’t often mean someone is going to strictly play the latest titles these performance metrics under this title Simply mean for the average user these cards can handle most tasks you throw at them without reducing the experience of working with your system. As a person living with a Disability, I would rather have the ability to utilize accessibility software alongside any platform or environment. As a system builder for 25 years, I’d rather put Gaming benchmark products in my systems, then workstation benchmarks in my system. As a benchmark eight gigs of RAM is a minimum 12 gigs preferred 16 gigs a standard for quality reliable performance. Overall. As a relatively new user of this graphics adapter series, I'm still adjusting to its features and limitations. I replaced a 16GB older generation card with this 12GB model, and I'm eager to conduct my own benchmarks. However, I struggle to justify the exceptionally high price point, given the perceived lack of added value. Installation required a larger-than-normal form factor case and, in my situation, considerable ingenuity to make it fit.Due to the card's immense size and weight, I've taken significant steps to support it with additional brackets. We'll see how it performs over the next few days.During initial application testing, I encountered a few glitches. Hopefully, these are not persistent. This card's size is a significant challenge. It consumed a substantial part of my day to reconfigure my case, which was originally designed for storage. I had to remove drive bays and modify the internal structure. If you're considering upgrading to this card, I recommend comparing its dimensions to your existing setup to assess the required space. In my ATX case, I couldn't accommodate both my hard drives and the graphics card on the same tier. The card extends approximately an inch beyond a standard 3.5-inch drive bay on either side. It would have been unfortunate to purchase a new case solely for this component. In this update, I want to emphasize the importance of using the vendor-provided tools. ASUS offers a utility designed to optimize performance and leverage all the card's features, with drivers and software tailored specifically for it. Again, I cannot overstate the necessity of robust support for this card's weight. Third-party risers can be installed to help balance the card and prevent damage to the motherboard, case, or the card itself.

I've been using a 2080 Super for 5 years, and it's been a good run, but I wanted to try some new features like Ray Tracing and mess around with some AI models. Yeah, the 20 series technically had RT, but the performance hit felt like kicking the card in the balls, so I never turned it on. I decided to upgrade. At the time of this review, prices are wild, and I couldn't find a good deal on a new 40 series card, so I went with this 5070 OC TUF edition. Yes, it's $190 more than the MSRP, but it's also a better-built card, meaning the components like capacitors, VRMs and fans are of higher quality than some cheaper versions and should last longer. Plus, good luck finding any card at MSRP right now.Observations:I remember thinking the 2080 was big, but the 5070 is the guy she told you not to worry about in comparison, and thankfully it comes with one of those fat-boy sag sticks to support the back of the card, because it needs it! So make sure your case is big enough to fit this beast.Games look beautiful! I'm finally getting good FPS with RT on in games like CyberPunk at higher settings. I think this card shines at 1440P, which is what my monitor supports. But if you want 4K, you'll probably want to buy a higher-end card.Rendering and exporting video in Premiere Pro is considerably faster than with my old 2080S.It's quieter than my 2080S too.My Verdict:If you're running something older like me, or a lower-end 30 series, then go for it! But if you have a 3080 or better, or a 4070 or better, you probably won't notice enough of a difference to make this card worth buying. It's a good card for what it is, and one of the best-built versions of the 5070 you can get. But it's also expensive, and you might have to wait on shipping like I did. That's the only reason I'm knocking off a star. Hope this helps!Edit: I don't notice any coil-whine. My ears are 40 years old, but I can still hear a sick CRT flyback. I just saw that it was mentioned, so I thought I'd chime in.

Upgrading from my old 2070 Super, and wow I can play brand new games maxed at 1080p, and my older games are running 200+ fps on higher resolutions! Great card and nice and solid. As the picture suggests here, watch out for sizing in your case, the new cards are MASSIVE.

I honestly don't understand why people are bashing on the RTX 5070. After several tests it was able to clearly outperform my 4070 super easily and that GPU was even overclocked. Build quality of the 5070 is superb, the diecast finish on it makes rgb lights reflect off of it and glow. The GPU is a lot bigger than my 4070 super as well (attached a picture for size comparison). Noise level wise i don't even hear the fans and and the temps have stayed around 59°C under heavy gaming which is quite impressive. Overall my experience with this GPU has been fantastic and it runs everything i throw at it perfectly.
