I'm sure it's a great product and performs really well, as far as hardware and performance goes I didn't keep it long enough to truly test any of that.Once I discovered that the web GUI was exactly the same as it was 10 years ago when I bought my first Asus router that's when I knew it wasn't time for aces to introduce itself back into my environment. Sure the hardware might be updated but the software is exactly the same.If I'm paying for a premium product I would expect at least some resources put into updating functionality and capabilities instead of it being literally the exact same thing.

It works beautiful for fiber Internet. Was very easy to hook up and make the account. Strong signal with a two story house. And fast 1gb speeds.

Router connection speeds are not consistent, phone will get 900Mbps and then after rebooting router it wont get over 100Mbps in same location. Asus tech support cant figure it out. And Tier 2 support was supposed to call me back but hasnt. Wired connection seems stable but otherwise wireless connections appear to drop. Firewall URL filters dont work and Parental Controls are questionable. I would not recommend this until they get the 'bugs' out.

I attempted to use the BT-10 as a node for my BE96u router. Unfortunately, I kept having disconnection issues. So, I reset the node, unbound it for my system, and did a complete factory reset. At that point I could not get the BT-10 to work at all. Ironically, the sister BT-10 from the two pack would work perfectly as both a node and a router.

After DongKnows.com review that the Nov 6, 2024 firmware update fixed most issues in original firmware - and his certification with 3 day stress-testing, I purchased the 1 pack of BT10 as my main Wifi 7 router. I'm also using my older AX58u as AiMesh node, where the AiMesh is only over the 5 GHz, and 2 GHz frequencies that the AX58u is capable of. The 6 GHz band is thus currently being used only from the BT10.The BT10 and the AiMesh is stable, reliable and fast - giving me between 1.7 - 2 Gbps speeds across the home spanning about 2K sq. ft. The laptops auto-switch between the 6 GHz and 5 GHz (that I've named with the same SSIDs) depending on which band has the highest and most reliable bandwidths. The roaming hand-offs in AiMesh is also reliable between the BT10 main router and the AX58u mesh node.I might get a second BT10 later as the Wifi7 products/firmwares further mature with MLO and other features - for now, I have a great whole-home wireless solution spanning the 6 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies (and the 2.4 GHz for the IoTs). The most important part is that its reliable and stable.
