Je cherchais un NAS en raid 5 + port 2,5 en Ethernet, celui coche toute les cases. Facile a installer, compact.Le seul petit défaut la mémoire non upgradable mais pour ce prix on peut pas tout avoir.

I have my own servers that help me host my Plex libraries, backup my PCs, etc, and this is just far easier to use, manage and has great support, patches and updates to keep it running smoothly. A great option that doesn't take up space, uses minimal electricity, and with the right size hard drives (not included), you can create a pretty powerful cube of storage. With other apps from ASUSTOR, you can back up your PCs (Windows is what I use, not sure about Macs), has other apps for managing photos, sharing with others on the internet, etc. Support lifecycle seems decent, so I'll always suggest getting one of the latest units vs. an older unit that could be desupported in a few years, always check with the manufacturer.

A video by Jeff Geerling showed how easy this is to set up and run a media server, it really was straightforward. BUT...1. It's super noisy, I had to turn it off at night.2. It took up to 10 minutes to boot up.3. When it goes wrong, there's no way to look under the hood via Terminal.4. Eventually it kept requiring disc reformats, which means delete all the data.It happened too many times, so replaced with a mac mini and a 4-bay irect attached storage enclosure. 30 seconds to boot up, silent, quick, works with my laptop - but obviously costs more. This device is a cheap and easy way to enter the world of media servers.

I bought this to replace an old Proliant nas, quite easy to set up loads of apps to install I'm very impressed how well this streams media to my mobile devices. So far I have only added a new 4tb Ironwolf nas drive which is a bit noisy but it's not that bad and it's not a problem with the nas it's the actual hard disc. I'm very happy with my purchase as it has so many features that my old NAS didn't have.If you're looking for a really good NAS box that works brilliantly get one of these.

Been using this for a few months, now. Installing the drives and performing the initial setup was fast and painless. Went through an initial upgrade of all the component software with no issues. Can't speak to capacity, since you buy (and install) your own drives. I put in 2 WD Red 4 TB drives and have them configured as RAID 1.Pros:* Quiet* Very fast (compared to my old MyBookLive)* Mapped drive access from our laptops was easy; very reliable* Works seamlessly with Windows backup/file historyCan't think of any significant cons, except to say a very non-technical user might struggle, a little. That said, the setup instructions were excellent, so, if you pay attention and read carefully, you should be fine.
